New Level IV for OSHAC

By: S. Khattab - Dec. 09, 2011

Dwight was evaluated during two sessions on Saturday, December 3 at Etobicoke. In the morning, we had full session of preliminaries for the Youth Cup and in the afternoon we had time finals for the Mega City meet. Dwight performed very well indeed for both sessions, winning the admiration of many of the other Level V officials present, including Dave Thompson, Rob Villion , Horst Tietze and others. The Mega City session especially is very challenging and can be daunting to the most seasoned Level V officials. This is a very full meet with many novice swimmers and is double ended. Dwight performed brilliantly. I’m not sure how many DQ’s he had to deal with, but I believe it was over 20 for the session, and included all varieties. At no time did he become flustered, or require any assistance in dealing with the many issues that came up. I was privileged to be one of his evaluators during that session, and was most impressed.
